Project Manager
Doug has been working in Alaskan construction management and general contracting since 1992 and currently provides construction and project management services to various public and private sector clients. Project management responsibilities include jobsite inspections, construction estimates, budget preparation, proposal preparation, CPM scheduling, and document tracking on multiple simultaneous projects.
Having been an owners representative at both Providence Alaska Medical Center and Alaska Native Medical Center, Doug has managed multiple simultaneous projects in the challenging environment of a functioning hospital, including a buildout of an operating room in the Native hospital sterile core. At the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport Concourse C project, Doug served as a field engineer inspecting design revisions, reviewing of pay applications, and managed the punchlist inspection and closeout process.
While working for general contractors, Doug served as the liaison between the Army Corps of Engineers Anchorage office and the field staff on Shemya and Adak Islands in the western Aleutian Chain.
