Project Controls Specialist

Ken has effectively contributed to construction projects ranging from thousands of dollars to nearly a billion dollars where his contributions encompassed cost estimating/tracking, budget implementation, contract administration, project coordination and scheduling.

Ken is currently working as the scheduler on the $88 million dollar Terra SW project. This project is a multi-phase/multi-year project underway in Southwest Alaska. Additionally, Ken has successfully instructed multiple Oracle Primavera P6 software training sessions.

Prior to joining Meridian, Ken served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Alaska, Anchorage.  While at UAA Ken worked with students from various backgrounds to better understand construction project management principles from building codes to scheduling. Ken also served as an Engineer at the SR 202 Design Build freeway expansion project in Phoenix, Arizona. Ken was responsible for providing the pre-bid schedule for the design phases of the project includinng approximately ten miles of mainline highway widening with multiple freeway overpasses and on-ramps from the collector streets.
