Project Manager

Johnathon has been working in the Alaska construction and telecommunications industry since 2005.   During this time he has been responsible for inspection and quality control on a large scale Municipal utilities relocation projects requiring coordination of multiple subcontractors as well as maintaining and updating project documents and verifying labor and materials costs.  On the Kodiak Kenai Fiber Link project, Johnathon was involved with installation and testing of terrestrial fiber optic cable including trench and duct bank fiber from beach manholes to landing stations, as well cable beach landings requiring coordination of multiple pieces of heavy equipment, cable/line riggers, cable laying ship and divers.  

Prior to Johnathon’s experience and studies in the construction industry, he spent four years in the U.S. Army and was deployed for Operation Enduring Freedom.  His military training included graduation from Army Airborne and Ranger School, and responsibilities included planning and conducting missions with up to 70 soldiers, creating and implementing time-lines, requests for food and supplies, and maintained accountability of personnel and equipment.
